"The house worked well for our group - two couples and three kiddos. It had everything we needed for cooking in and all the spaces to relax in and out. We rented a pontoon boat which we appreciated docking at the rental for making exploring voyageurs national park easy. We really enjoyed the trip and the cabin was great! "

"Steve was a great host and the unit is small but great for 6 people- great for an area where our goal was to spend lots of time outside. Very close to Rainy Lake Visitors Center in Voyageurs and on the shores of Rainy Lake itself. We used the fire pit on the property for s'mores. Steve is very communicative, responsive to requests, and also has recommendations for area activities and dining."

"Great accommodations for large group to relax and spread out after a long day on the boat fishing. Plenty of room for cooking and eating without getting in each other way. Very close to other resorts for food if you don't want to cook yourself. If you have a boat with you plenty of resorts nearby to get gas and bait for fishing."

"We enjoyed our time in Ranier. The house was in great condition, is in a quiet neighborhood and is conveniently located to several activities. The homeowner was quick to answer our questions before and during our stay. Thank you!"

"We had a wonderful time and saw the Northern Lights. A previous guest had broken the gas fire place pilot but it was warm and we didn't need it. We would love to stay here again."

"This was our first visit to Minnesota. The house was beautiful and well kept. Everything was just as stated in the listing. The location is very peaceful, right on the lake. Plenty of recreation and exploration opportunities around. We would definitely stay here again in the future!"

"Property had everything we needed. Enough room for four people, two boats. Nice place, kitchen was fully equipped, beds were comfortable. Only downside was internet t.v. was slow and kicking out. Owners were able to move some dates around for us after a miscommunication on our end. They also supplied extension cords for power down to where we parked boats/trailers which was much appreciated. "I came with my parents, my 9yrs old son, and our dog. The experience was peaceful and the place beautiful! The property is amazing, clean, comfortable and beautiful. It is true that despite the stores it is very bright in the mornings because of the design of the house, but it the house is so pleasant that it doesn’t matter. Don't be afraid of the goodlse poops on the water edges of the property (including one of the 2 piers, because after all, it is their place. We brushed it off with a pine...
