"Charming inn in Baddeck. Beautiful slopping view down to lake across the road. Hotel and restaurant staff were helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. King room was spacious, and being from Florida loved the in room fireplace. Tub was good size. I am a bigger guy, at #260. But fit into tub for a nice soak. Highly recommend the Alexander gram bell museum. The gondola ride was worth the hour drive. But prepare mentally for the 10 minute stretch up the mountain side literally along a cliff edge. ...

The owner met us as we arrived and we proceeded to get a brief tour of the property. They have thought of everything! Comfortable, functional yet stylish - the design aesthetics are beautiful and clearly considered throughout. We loved the hot tub and outdoor shower. Beautiful sunsets. "We had a very relaxing stay at Doug's loft suite. It's a very peaceful property. The hot tub definitely made this a 5 star place to stay. So relaxing and peaceful watching the sunset and then the stars at night. The room is a bit small but quaint and has everything you need including a small fridge, sink, dishes etc. and the bed was comfortable. We would definitely return the next time we visit the area.
