"Hosts were absolutely amazing!!! The husband and wife team were so very helpful and informative. Attention and care was taken in the preparation of the room with nothing lacking in amenities. The breakfast experience was a definite bonus. We were not expecting such a wonderful service, starting with a fresh fruit bowl, yogurt and granola, followed by freshly baked bread and a warm frittata. We were also serenaded with beautiful live music played on the violin and a welcome brief of the history...

"Excellent stay. Property has so many bonus amenities that you would have to stay to experience. Excellent laundry.. snacks..provided earplugs…quality towelly and linens feels like you are visiting your loving aunts or mothers for the weekend. Impeccably maintained and furnished. Only drawback is that it is 2k to get into town so not walkable. However it would be next to impossible to get here without your own transportation. So much to see and do and experience only a short drive away. Truly...

The restaurant is delicious and the distillery tour is a must. The only complaint i would have is the boxed breakfast and self serve coffee in room."

"We stayed at multiple hotels/motels and cabins during our trip to Nova Scotia and during our trip around Cabots Trail. The Bras D'Or Inn was by far our favourite stay. The room was spacious and clean, the property was beautiful with a gorgeous wharf behind where there were gorgeous views of the lake. The attached restaurant was also a nice treat. The food was terrific. We only stayed one night, but it was the best evening of the trip. Would stay again there 100%"
