"although the pod was small, it was comfortable. Although the kitchen was shared it was well equipped and not busy. Being a bit older not having an attached washroom was not great."

"It was an upgrade for camping. The nice thing about the accommodation was that there were flush toilets and showers as well as a fully functional kitchen in the communal building. The outdoor lighting wasn’t very bright so a good bright flashlight is a must. It will help you to locate the assigned pod. Don’t bring large or a lot of luggage. There isn’t a lot of space left next to the queen-sized foam bed. Having indoor shoes is a good idea as the floor is not finished. The plug-in electric...

"Michael, the host, was an excellent communicator. The property itself was in top-notch condition and super clean. The location was super for us to explore our Acadian heritage in the Cape Breton region, as well as explore the Cabot Trail. A totally unexpected bonus of the stay was to have my morning coffee on the back deck while literally watching the lobster fishermen run their pots just beyond the backyard. 4 thumbs up!"

"This place is a perfect location on the Cabot Trail. You can hear the ocean at night. The pods are cozy and amenities are great! The staff are very helpful. Would love to stay here again on my next trip back."

"This place was listed as 2 half bathroom s. In reality it was one half bathroom and a bathing only room. Very misleading. There was no Welcome Book to tell us anything. We look forward to that. Knives were quite dull. Very few plates. But there was one awesome fry pan that fried our eggs beautifully. Note on the wall said to put garbage in the garage. There was a lot of garbage in there from before us. However the host was very responsive and helpful when contacted. Nice quiet clean location."
