"Great hotel and our room is wonderful. Only issue is that that hotel did not say that their restaurant and bar are closed on Monday and Tuesday. Very disappointed in that as I was looking forward to treating my wife to a wonderful meal and evening. Headed to Byrne's Irish Bar near train station and were blessed with live Irish music from 6 to 8 on Tuesday. "

"Great stay for a long weekend. Conveniently located near everything Freeport has to offer and easy commute to Portland. Great property, clean, very nice and helpful staff, no frills but no complaints. Great for the price."

" Location was very quaint and picturesque. Our room was very clean. We enjoyed having breakfast and dinners at the restaurant. The food was delicious and staff was very accommodating. The only complaint was the shower water temperature took too long to become warm. We would definitely return to Smugglers again. "

"Fabulous beach, river, ocean view; only steps away. Very good restaurant also. We watched the lobster being unloaded and a short time later enjoyed them dipped in butter. Would highly recommend."
