Several serious issues:- After booking our two-week stay, the host contacted me to say it would actually be an extra thousand dollars because he hadn’t configured the tax correctly in his listing.- The hot tub did not work and was not able to be repaired during our stay, despite quite a bit of discussion with the host and property manager.- The primary bathroom had a cracked bathtub. I found water in the room below, and reported the crack and leak to the host, who declined to address it during the stay.- The shag carpet in the living room was very dirty and had several choking hazards stuck in it. We had to roll it up so that our toddler and dog could be safe in the room.- The host was disorganized and was confused about our departure date. He then had the property manager contact us about watering houseplants.- The primary bathroom has inadequate lighting. It’s not bright enough to clip your nails or see your face in the mirror.- The kitchen didn’t have a pot large enough to cook pasta or beans. Also, for anyone considering booking, the third bedroom is an unenclosed loft above the living room, and none of the bedrooms have shades that darken the room, so bring an eye mask if you plan to sleep past 6 or 7 am.
