The Big Rock Creek Lodge is nestled in the pines above the rushing waters of Strawberry Creek and backs up to the prestigious gated community of Alpen Woods. This home is 3 bedrooms, 2 baths. The exquisite master bedroom has scenic views through mitered windows with an unobstructed, close-up view, of Suicide Rock. Suicide Rock can also be viewed from the expansive deck. On the large deck there is also a BBQ and a spa, with Strawberry Creek right next to the home. Hang outside and listen to the babbling creek while you enjoy the beautiful scenery. The cozy family room has an exclusive rock fireplace and a 42 inch TV with enough room to entertain friends and family. The lovely knotty pine kitchen has stainless steel appliances and a breakfast nook. “Big Rock Creek Lodge is just steps away from Humber Parks’ hiking trails and sled runs. Come enjoy a relaxing weekend among the pines and all of the natural beauty that Idyllwild has to offer!

PLEASE NOTE THE FOLLOWING IMPORTANT INFORMATION BEFORE BOOKING:

Streaming services are available, but guests must log in using their accounts.
This vacation rental is not equipped with air-conditioning.

-Cancellations: Bookings canceled at least 60 days before the start of the stay will receive a full refund, with a $150.00 cancellation charge. Bookings canceled at least 30 days before the start of the stay will receive a 50% refund, plus a $150.00 cancellation charge.
No Cancellations Allowed for November, December, and January

- Pets: We do allow dogs, however, please note that there is a fee of $35 per dog per night. If you plan to bring more than one dog, you must obtain prior approval and additional fees may apply. When booking through selected third-party sites such as Airbnb, once your booking is confirmed, you will receive a payment request for the dog fee, which should be paid separately.

Check-in instructions: On your arrival day, the reserving guest will receive a text with check-in instructions between 3:30 and 4:00 PM. Please stop by our office to retrieve your key from the lockbox.

- Parking: Free parking is available for 3 vehicles.

- County permit number: 001310

- Rental agreement: Please review our rental agreement for our house rules. You will receive an emailed version to sign, but if you prefer other options, please inquire.

- Age restrictions: Due to the new County of Ordinance 927.2: We no longer accept reservations for anyone under 21 years of age.

- Seasonal wood delivery: If available, there is a $25 fee per bundle (approximately 20 pieces). Please provide at least 5 days' notice for a Friday arrival date or at least 3 days' notice for any other day of the week. Please note that there are no refunds for this service.

- Confirmation: Upon booking this property through Airbnb, New Spirit Vacation Homes will send you a direct email confirming your reservation. Attached to this confirmation will be a contract you need to review, sign, and send back within 24 hours.

- Incidentals: We reserve the right to request payment for any incidentals. This includes but is not limited to firewood, pet fees, special occasion requests, personal grocery drop-offs, pay-per-view movies or sporting events, and damaged property.

Guests booking this home under the age of 25 years of age will provide an additional insurance for $70.00 non-refundable on the day of arrival.
