"The Gage was absolutely lovely for a weekend getaway- however — it’s was MUCH further from State College than advertised on Expedia- which said 22 miles. It was actually 37 miles- much further than we planned and made the weekend including WAY more travel- including late at nite- than we anticipated
We had plans in SC- and travelled 4 hours to SC."

"Great affordable place to stay for a Penn State game! I was a little worried about the shared bathroom but there were zero issues with waiting for anybody. Jayne and Hal were friendly and welcoming, excellent hosts, everything was great!"

"Checkin - The checkin times are 3-6 pm, but I had to check in early since we had other plans at 3. I contacted them over the provided number by text and was assured that self check-in instructions would be sent out prior to the day of checkin. Received complete and unambiguous instructions.
Property - Clean, well-maintained and has everything you might need. Carry a bit of cash on you because the pantry is well-stocked with snacks but you will need cash to be able to utilize that.

"I was delighted to stay with Jayne and Hal. It was as if I were visiting dear family members. I enjoyed "hanging out" with them. I was made to feel comfortable and "at home". Their home is delightful, jammed with mementos of a fascinating life. It was ultra clean, ultra comfortable, and ultra friendly. The bed and bath rooms were super clean and comfortable with little touches like Q-tips which I had forgotten to bring. Jayne wanted to make me breakfast, but my unusual eating habits mitigated...
