"Sadly, this was a bad experience. I booked via Expedia where the hotel was advertising a Michelin trained chef and a restaurant. I travelled solo 145 miles for a two night break purely because of this. Upon arrival, I was disappointed to learn the restaurant closed last year. I expressed this disappointment in very civil tones, explaining this was the only reason for my visit. I asked the owner Stacie if I could therefore cancel my second night and obtain a partial refund for it. Stacie agreed...

"The property was very clean and the room very spacious.
The food was of very good quality and couldnt be faulted.
The staff were very helpful.

"We stayed in room 4.just about acceptable considering we were there 3 nights.but shower was disgusting.my partner would not use it.washing herself down at separate sink.even her long hair on last night.l washed myself down in sink also but braved it and had shower on last night.l will say breakfast was good.
