"We came up for a family reunion and found this property that may accommodate a wheelchair. Had a ramp on the front. Everything was great. Location was perfect for where we were headed. Plenty of space for our family of 4 and the grandparents. Easy check in and check out. Host was very quick with responses. Would stay again. "

"The property was as shown in the pictures very cozy and an awesome back yard to enjoy a fire and stare gaze. The only down fall was the shower, it felt like i was taking a bird bath no pressure from the nozzle which made me disappointed and also Higgins Lake was Not a 2 min walk more like a 15min drive but its close enough from the cabin to enjoy the lake and scenery. The kitchen was big and had everything you needed overall I'd like to return if shower head was replaced and thougts about adding...

"Our family had a great time for a long weekend at the cottage. We did some kayaking on the Ausable River, fishing on the lake and spent lots of time around the fire pit. The house had a few quirks, but that is just a function of being an older house. It was very well maintained and clean and had plenty of beds for our extended family to sleep in. The owner provided clear instructions and was prompt with communication and responding to questions."

"This was a really nice unit. Not on the water, but within a few minutes drive time to Houghton Lake, and 20 minutes to Higgins Lake. Lots of beautiful trails, boat launches, and public parks. Located on a quiet street, close to stores and restaurants. Would stay here again. The host was more than accommodating, and made sure every need was met. The house is well equipped, even down to a crate for your dog. The washing machine and dryer were an added bonus!"

"The cottage is absolutely adorable! We enjoyed a weekend there for Tip Up Town and even though it was freezing, it was an easy walk on the lake to the beer tent and a short walk on the road to the Limberlost. The host was communicative. It was a great stay! "

"My husband and I enjoyed Kelley’s “better than a tent” cabin for our anniversary getaway. The cabin was spotless, smelled really nice and had so much charm throughout. I wish we could have enjoyed the outside portion of the cabin more, as it is designed for such a fun outdoor space, but we were out and about all weekend. If we are back in the area again, we would for sure rent this cabin again. "
