"We arrived early and we were kindly allowed use of the spa, pools, sauna and steam room. Service is second to none. We would have liked to have eaten at Sean Rankin’s restaurant but, unfortunately there was a wedding being held there. Our meal in Fletchers was very good. Our (cosy) room was on the top floor but next to the lift, which was fortunate. Everything was spotless and the bed was extremely comfortable. Very efficient room service. "

"Welcome drink on arrival... Still waiting for it! Raised issues with staff that were handled professionally but could have easily been avoided. Buffet style breakfast with choice of additional cooked to order dishes and continental options 5*. The surroundings were breathtaking. Would recommend as peaceful retreat for all to stay and enjoy local area with much to see and do. 10/10 to cocktail maker Alex."

"My second time here but first since the name change. It was a lovely grand room. Very comfortable My only ding was that the grout between the tiles in the shower needed cleaning. A bit mildewed"

"It’s a pleasant hotel. It’s a bit expensive and if you want to use the gym or pool they charge you extra. Also they couldn’t provide access to a microwave. Still, the room was lovely and quite big. Very clean also."

"This was a lovely place and we really enjoyed our stay. The staff are all friendly and helpful. The twin room was clean and comfortable. We had dinner in the restaurant. There was a great choice and the food was delicious. The surroundings were beautiful and it was nice to be able to go for a walk after dinner."
