River Cabin: Single Family Getaway On The River

The "River Cabin" on River Mountain Farm is a private 1-bedroom, 1-bathroom cabin/bungalow that sleeps up to 2 adults and is pet friendly. It is perfect for a weekend fishing or hunting trip or for a small family getaway. The cabin has two beds in a studio-style layout (1 twin bed + 1 full bed in the same open area). The bathroom has separate rooms for the shower and toilet. The cabin features a front porch with views of the river and an outdoor gas grill along with a small refrigerator, coffee maker, and air conditioning. High-speed wireless internet is available throughout the property and is suitable for calling or texting and using social media.

On site, you'll have access to 137 acres of hiking and nearly a mile of river frontage for fishing or kayaking. You can borrow one of our four kayaks, two paddle boards, or two river tubes or bring your own and launch from our floating dock. The owners, Adrienne and Drew, live on the property and are available to assist with anything you might need before or during your stay. For larger groups, you can reserve one of the other homes on the farm. Each building is a comfortable distance from the others, so while you may see other guests on the property, you will still be able to enjoy the peace and tranquility of the farm.

The River Cabin always includes free coffee and free propane for the grill. We also supply all linens and bath towels, as well as hand soap in the bathroom. A new 60-panel solar array attached to the original barn generates 24,000+ kWh and covers all of our energy consumption. We also offer 100% contactless check-in and check-out to keep you safe and healthy. Please note that due to the size of the cabin, we limit guests to no more than 2 and no more than 1 dog. The River Cabin can also be reserved along with the Caretaker's Cottage, or The Lodge, and all together they can accommodate up to 14 people.
