"Kim, we absolutely loved your cozy cabin and its ever-changing, spellbinding view. We spotted so much wildlife—our first glimpse of a partially white deer, turtles along the road, and birds serenading us daily. The summer garden, lush with ferns, adds a magical touch to the cabin's charm. We can’t wait to return and experience the beauty of a different season."

"We had a phenomenal time at Alan’s mountain home. We skied 2 days, we easily walked to the lift and came home for lunch and went back out. It is so nice to not have to get in your car with the gear. The house is huge and had everything we needed. We had 3 families with young children and we all slept well, felt safe and made amazing family memories. "My husband and I visited for our anniversary. The cabin is lovely - beautifully renovated, thoughtfully outfitted, and situated in a lovely forested setting. The king-sized bed was the most comfortable bed that I have slept on away from home. The hot tub uses a saltwater system which is so much more pleasant than the usual chlorine/bromine systems found in most hot tubs...easier on the skin and respiratory system. We were very pleased with our experience and definitely plan to return to this...

"My husband and I stayed in this charming little cabin for the weekend. It is perfect for just 2 people. The cabin only has one sink (the kitchen sink) and the refrigerator is small but that was ok since it was just the two of us. The cabin is in a private setting, and we truly felt secluded from the rest of the world. We enjoyed sitting on the porch and listening to nature. We would definitely stay again!"

"Spent one night here to celebrate our 10th wedding anniversary. Wish we could have stayed a week! Super clean, very cozy and private. Felt right at home. Added bonus of not having a TV or wifi! Perfect place to spend time with each other and nature without distraction. "

This year I decided that a week away from the routines of my day-to-day life were in order; I've had an in-progress bit of writing collecting digital dust for longer than I'd like to admit.What I needed? Fresh air, a quiet property, and a natural setting in which I could take short strolls. Spotting wildlife, especially the local birds, in their natural habit would definitely be a plus! Anything to get my writing...

"This property was really lovely. Not too far from town and its shops and restaurants, but very private at the cabin. My partner and I were looking to get out of the city and away from people for a few ways, and this was perfect! The bed is comfortable, the kitchen well outfitted, and the out door spaces (hot tub, porch and fire pit) were very nice. The host provided all the information we needed to have a successful trip."

"Outstanding property was just what the doctor ordered for a rejuvenating time of R&R. Clean and comfortable, all of the amenities—including the hot tub— made for a lovely stay. "

"Cabin was lovely in a secluded spot. Close to Cacapon park hiking, horseback riding, and shotgun shooting. Also Morgan County Observatory was close. Of course Berkley Speings was nice too! Rounded out each day in the hot tub!"

"Went for my 40th birthday weekend getaway. This cabin is perfect for those like me who love to spend time outdoors and with the family. The location is very remote and you can listen to the birds all day and the frogs all night. Trough state park and reystown lake are a very short ride away to enjoy the many trails and natural features they have to offer. Historic Huntingdon is about a 40 min drive north for grocery or any other needs as well. Do know cell service is not reliable for exploring...

"We appreciated how welcoming the owner is to 4-legged family members and the options for dog-walking - both around the neighborhood and at the state park that is across the road. The property is very clean so you would never know that other dogs had been there. The property is perfect for a relaxing get-away. Our entire family enjoyed it."
