"Beautiful property in a beautiful village. Very large beer garden, large bathroom with a bath (instead of a standard shower). They provided a fan to partially compensate for lack of A/C (during a record breaking heatwave), but wouldn't hesitate to stay there again if ever in South Yorkshire. Easy FREE parking."

And they managed to get my booking changed so I could stay that night which was a relief. The hotel itself is lovely, clean, modern and brand new but the staff are exceptional. "We were allocated a room for a disabled person even though neither of us are disabled or had requested it. However we did appreciate the wet room rather than a bath with shower over. But, and a big but for any traveller, there was nowhere in the bathroom to place toiletries, razors, toothbrushes, deodorant, hairbrushes etc etc. All the things that are needed within reach of the sink. We ended up dragging the chair in the shower to the sink in order to have our toilet bags close without them...
