My iPad Pro was STOLEN from my room during my stay and the hotel and the Diamond Resorts corporation have accepted no responsibility.
I was a guest at The Modern Honolulu April 4th-April 8th, 2021. During my stay, my Ipad was never taken out of the room and the last place I left it was in my room's safe. The safe stopped working on April 6th, 2021. I reported the iPad as missing BEFORE checking out of the hotel. The GPS location matched the hotel's exact address for days AFTER I left the hotel. Additionally, I received multiple messages that my "iPad was just seen". Despite informing the hotel's security about all of the information above, I was simply told that the iPad wasn't found and there wasn't anything they could do. Multiple employees (at the front desk and security team) told me they didn't have a claim process and that there was nothing else that could be done. I filed a police report and after sending an angry email to the general manager, I finally received the documents to start a claim for reimbursement.
After waiting weeks for a response, corporate said "there is no evidence to suggest that the Resort was responsible for this incident...the resort is not responsible for personal property".
DON'T STAY HERE THE EMPLOYEES WILL ROB YOUR PERSONAL BELONGINGS AND GET AWAY WITH IT!!!!THIS IS THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE ANYBODY COULD EVER HAVE, I WAS OFFERED NO REIMBURSEMENT OR COMPENSATION FOR MY STOLEN ITEM!!!
