The hotel property itself is very nice, well-maintained, and clean. The location is excellent — only about a 2-minute walk to the beach. There are many shops, cafés, restaurants, car rentals, and bike rentals around the hotel, with very well-developed infrastructure nearby. This is a huge plus.
The staff was friendly, and the hotel offers a pool and a jacuzzi. There is also a bar next to the pool and jacuzzi. The room itself was quite spacious and comfortable in terms of layout.
However, the biggest and only serious downside was cleanliness. The room was very dirty — there was a lot of dust everywhere, and we found many dark (black) hairs in the bed. It felt like the bedding was not fresh and had not been changed after previous guests. We had to remove the bedding ourselves and wash it in the laundry room before using it. Laundry costs $8 per wash and $3.25 for the dryer.
The dishes in the room were also dirty, and we had to rewash everything before use. Overall, it felt as if the room had not been properly cleaned after the previous guests.
We lowered the rating only because of the cleanliness issues. If the room had been clean, this property would easily deserve five stars — or even more — due to its location, amenities, and overall atmosphere.
Another downside is that the hotel does not provide beach towels. The room only had bath and shower towels (5 total), which are not suitable for the beach, so be sure to bring your own beach towels.
