"I was looking for a clean and quiet spot to enjoy the sea – this was the perfect place. Close to Bamburgh but out of the fray with ample parking and good food. Staff was friendly and attentive. "

"A lovely little stay at a nice property. Breakfast was very much appreciated. There is no washer/dryer facilities for laundry at this property, only washing drying of scuba suits."

"Room was very nice. Beautiful manor, quiet countryside surroundings. Dining and lounge area first class. Staff very friendly and accommodating. Only regret we had was only booking for one night! If we return to the area, we’ll be staying again!"

"Absolutely amazing hospitality in such a beautiful and tranquil location overlooking the green in the village food was excellent breakfast was filling with endless fresh coffee it’s so rural and quiet no need for earplugs at this lovely accommodation highly recommend and definitely be back again thanks steve"

"Lovely bed and breakfast in stunning surroundings. Angela couldn't do enough and went above and beyond. I would highly recommend it. If you are relying on public transport do your research due to the remote location but well worth the travel. Wish I had booked for longer."

"Lovely country pub, great food and very welcoming, our dogs were welcomed too. Great staff who couldn't do enough to make our stay comfortable. We will definitely be back soon."

"Lovely stay , very comfortable hotel. Excellent Customer service. The staff went out of their way to be helpful and very obliging. We ate in the restaurant both evenings and couldn’t fault our meals at all. Very good quality food. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again. "
