"Situated in a convenient location on the main road between Windermere and Bowness, our stay was amazing. Rich and Ada were brilliant hosts, welcoming and was very helpful. Breakfast was one of the best we've had in the UK and comes with so many different options. We had booked a cost double room but didn't feel that small to be fair. They were cleaned daily and the bed was so comfortable. There is no doubt that if we come back to the Lake District, this would be where we would stay again."

"Kate and Paul were exceptionally welcoming before the check-in time. They invited us to leave our car in the car park while we went walking for the day. They took our luggage up to our room which went over and above what we would race as good service. Throughout our stay, Paul and Kate were wonderful , friendly, knowledgeable & helpful hosts. "The house is in a beautiful location and we were greeted by Alfie. We were made welcome from the very beginning and looked after well. Our twin room was perfect with amazing views. We were recommended a walk to the lake and took a picnic, beautiful scenery and incredibly relaxing. A must do! We were provided with a delicious cooked breakfast and fresh bread. We will absolutely be visiting again and we wished we’d stayed longer than 1 night. "
