"This was our first time staying at Blue Diamond and it absolutely did not disappoint. We have traveled the coast for years but have not stayed at a more peaceful and relaxing home like this one. "This house if very cute and clean, however either a neighborhood dog or a previous guest did not pick up after their pet and my husband stepped in it. Obviously it wasn’t the owners fault..just watch your step on the turf/grass. "We had a wonderful time. Clean, comfortable, great layout. Fully stocked kitchen - bring your own food, spices, condiments if you plan use the kitchen and eat in. Beautiful ocean views from most rooms of the home. Lovingly cared for unit. Bedrooms well spaced from each other. Very quiet. We enjoyed trying Phil's restaurant as recommended. "The studio apartment at Barlocker’s Ranch was perfect for our quick visit to Salinas. It was very clean and the beds were super comfortable. The area is beautiful and we enjoyed walking our dog around the property. Samantha, the host who we met upon arrival, was incredibly kind and friendly and made us feel very welcome. All communication with the hosts was clear with quick responses. We hope to return in the near future. "
