Overall, I had a great time. There was no major issues; the water and electricity worked, the AC worked, the fridge worked, and the unit was overall clean. The linens were very clean and smelled nice. The TV and Wi-Fi were very modern and had no issues. However, for the price, I would have expected the unit to be more up to date and cleaner. The unit was about as clean as I keep my house, but the cabinets had old food stains and the ceiling vents were very dusty. There is a soft spot in the kitchen floor that was a bit concerning, and I had to fix the slide bar on the door to make it functional. The back porch gate latch was also broken and open the entire time.

Since It Was A Beachfront We Booked Apartment Is Outdated , Kitchen Floor Needs Fixed ,No Hot Water In Shower , Dryer Is Joke , Deck Is Not Level , Need Better Front Door @ Lock Other Than That Weather Was Perfect Would I Rent Again ( NO ) Also Has Bugs In Apartment Needs Exterminating

Excellent ocean view getaway!

This condo has a lot to offer. It is probably about the best view of the ocean you can have. The sofa and bed are very comfortable. I was relieved to see the fan over the bed. I sleep with a floor fan, which I left at home. I was afraid I was going to have to go to Wal-Mart there and buy one. Thank goodness that was supplied by the owners. I love the decor. The oil paintings, fish, and parrots are all so precious. The only complaints were that some of the lights had burned out bulbs. I did not really have sufficient lighting to read at night unless I sat at the bar in the kitchen. There was also some construction work going on at one of the joining units that caused noise, which is only temporary, but I happened to be one of the guests during that time. The maid service could do a better job with cleaning the condo. I was going for the view and location though, and it met my expectations, so I was overall happy with my stay and plan to return in the future.

Perfect setting

The location of this property is perfect for those who want beachfront ambiance. The condo is older and need of some repair. The furniture and bed were comfortable. We were appreciative of the beach chair and umbrella.

So much potential!

Our stay at this pet friendly property was sufficient. The condo has a ton of potential, but quite a bit is dated and/or in need of repair, as many other reviews have stated. If you want somewhere "fancy" (which we didn't), this won't be for you. If you only want to be on the beach and have somewhere to eat, shower and sleep, then you've got it here!! The owners are very nice and responsive!! I hope they have the opportunity to invest more into this property in the near future- especially to repair the soft spots in the floor and the back deck. I also think the cleaning person could do a better job.

We had a great time at a great location on the beach and a couple suggestions

We love your condo location. We're glad it was available for our first stay in Destin. We have two small dogs under 6 years old, one with a life threatening heart condition. It was very accommodating for us and our pups. We loved the big deck as well!! We have a couple minor suggestions, though. Let me know if I can email them to you directly. Thanks much, we had a wonderful week, beautiful water, views and beaches!! We hope to be back next year!! Kim and Jim

Perfect Location!

We had an amazing time here! We stayed for 2 weeks and will definitely come back again! The bathroom is a little dated, but didn’t bother us a bit! Everything was so close and the view is breathtaking!!

The view & location were awesome! Did have a issue with the shower head. It fell off the end of the water metal tubing. Notified owner & she called me back promptly. The plumber did not show up before I had to leave to travel home. Was difficult to shower with the water coming out of the metal tubing. I was concerned about the mold around the shower & windows. Bed was wonderful, unit had everything needed for my stay....loved the location. Will try for this unit again for my next visit to Destin. Thank you!!!

Location, Location, Location!!

From the time we stepped into the condo we couldn’t believe we had the perfect place to stay for our vacation. The condo was just what me, my husband and Yorkie needed. It had The most amazing view from our deck and directly on the beach. The bedroom, the bathroom, the living room and kitchen was perfect for us. I would recommend anyone stay here if they want a nice, clean condo on the beach!

Location location location- that’s all it’s about

If location/view and proximity to the beach are your priorities and you want a clean serviceable place that has what you need- and in very close proximity to anything you could possibly want. this is the place. Is it dated? Yep. Does it need some repairs? Yep a few. But, when you have that beach and those views - does it really matter? I vote no. The bed was super comfy. The walk to the beach takes one minute. The beach bar and chair service are super convenient. The beach itself was one of the nicest we’ve ever seen. Absolutely spectacular sand and water. There is a shower at the foot of your private deck for your convenience and chairs if you don’t want to rent. just pack your beach towel and sunscreen and you’re good to go. Lastly- the owners were very communicative and helpful when we had a small issue with the door access. I feel they were very available and appreciated that.
