"The place was clean, and very nicely furnished. While there is no carpark on site, there are nearby carparks that are inexpensive. The bathtub was a little slow to fill, but could maintain water at a very high temperature. The Nakata hangers they provided were very beautiful and I decided to buy a set for myself when I returned to Tokyo."

"Beautiful building inside and out. Top of the line amenities. Great stay. Check-in was a little bit confusing as I missed the part about room code via email, but I called upon arrival and they resend a code to my email again, we were able to get in. Place is gorgeous and well thought out."

"The cottage has everything a family needs but the communications around check-in was very poor and hotels.com's customer service was unwilling to provide any assistance. I would have thought some level of quality control helped justify hotels.com's commission. Either way, the cottage is managed by the building next door and this is where you need to go to collect the key. "

"Room is big and clean. The staff is very nice and polite. It's very near the train station, so you could walk to several tourist spots. But it's next to the train track. Although the windows is sound proof, you could still hear it. If you sensitive to noise, this might not suit you. But our family is fine, we could sleep through the night."

"We stayed only one night at this huge hotel and had a very pleasant stay. It is located right next to the main train station, which is extremely convenient for rail travelers. The area is safe, clean, and offers a variety of interesting shops around the station. The room was good, although the mattress was a bit too firm for our liking. The bath towels were of excellent quality. The blackout curtains are outstanding—to the point that we could not even tell that it was already daylight outside. The breakfast buffet is plentiful. However, more than half of the food options are Japanese or other Asian dishes, which may feel somewhat unfamiliar and disapointing to many Western guests (including myself)."
