"The food at the Piedmont Restaurant was not good. The menu was too sophisticated for the staff to execute.
The lodge rooms were updated, but not very clean.
There was a bridge in the gardens with rotted wooden slats and steps, and one section of the rail was missing altogether.
The staff was friendly and helpful."

"I was really disappointed! The pool and room jacuzzi was closed and there was no mention of this, on the website. It was spring time and the weather was around 80 degrees. Secondly, there were chiggers all over the nightstands AND in our bed. We counted, and killed, above 40 of them. It was so bad that we had to decide to either go buy bug spray OR go home (without a refund). The bug spray seemed to help but the peaceful sleep was destroyed."

"Very clean and nice room. Bathroom was nice and well stocked. Has Dove products for use. Nice comfy king size bed. Dark out curtains that actually do their job. My only complaint is the pillows could be a little firmer.
Also my number one complaint was one of the janitors was mopping the entrance when we arrived. We carefully walked around but a crowd of people walked in behind us, which caused him to drop the mop and exclaim “G-d dammit” and walk away. Not cool at all. "
