"We recently spent a wonderful weekend here celebrating the birth of our 6th grandchild while also enjoying a visit with 2 additional that have been on the other side of the country and we haven’t seen in over a year! There couldn’t have been a better place for all 6 of the grandkids to gather together with Mimi and Paw Paw and celebrate such a beautiful and memorable occasion. "The Hillside Hideaway was exactly what we hoped for: clean, comfortable, quiet, close to shopping and restaurants and a safe environment for our nine-year old pup Lucy. We stayed four nights during a mild weather period, and we made the most of the trails and parks in the area. My husband and I are in our seventies -- we live an hour way from Johnson City and we enjoy mini-vacations that don't require long-distance travel. This spot was perfect for us!"
