- There is one assigned parking space and we can obtain a guest pass for one additional vehicle. No trailers or branded work vehicles are allowed.
- All reservations require a SIGNED RENTAL AGREEMENT and government-issued PHOTO ID to complete the booking. (E-sign document sent after booking, both must be returned within 48 hrs.)
- No smoking, vaping, etc on the premises.
- No third-party rentals.
- Renter must be a minimum of 25 years old.
- No glitter, dye, or confetti.

*** Note that this home is equipped with a device that monitors - but does not record - the environment inside the property (including noise levels, temperature, and motion (HVAC only)) to ensure guests have a pleasant stay and our neighbors are not disturbed. “Sea n Shade” is a wonderful place! Everything was just as listed. Conveniently located to everything and just a very short walk to the beach. Very quiet neighborhood and the neighbors were super friendly. Clean and very well appointed and stocked. Communication with the hosts Pam and Paul is very easy. We would definitely recommend to others and we would love to stay again in the future!

I was incredibly disappointed with my stay. This rental isn’t very guest friendly. First, we had to drive ten minutes to pick up the parking pass. And the biggest disappointment was that a few hours before we were due to check in, we received a note from the host informing that the pool had been closed earlier in the week due to equipment failure caused by rain. They had no idea when it would reopen. It ended up being closed the entire week.I had dozens of options, but chose this one because the listing said the property had a pool. I even relayed our desire to swim in my introduction email. I’d read a previous guest’s entry saying the pool seemed old and it’s now clear that is true. None of the other pools in the area were closed. In a location where sharks are frequently seen, (everyone had to leave the water on our first day because the guard saw two sharks 10 yards from shore), temperatures routinely reach over 90, and high tide usually swallows the beach by midafternoon—a pool is essential.Ideally we would have been able to cancel or at least receive a partial refund, but neither option was extended. I feel like I was duped and wish we’d opted for a hotel instead.Additionally, as another guest observed, this property while nicely decorated, smells like urine. We tried to use the patios and ran into lots of mosquitoes. The beach equipment is a nice thought, but most of it is broken. On the plus side, the unit is only a seven minute walk to the beach.

Great location and calm neighborhood- good for families

Overall this is a great condo with a great location minutes away from the beach, in a quiet neighborhood so ideal for families. Close to restaurants, grocery stores etc. However, the air flow in the primary bedroom is really low especially at night which we didn’t love. And the pool is a little outdated and may be in need of a clean/update, one of the bedroom closet doors is broken which gave us a little scare when our daughter tried to open it. Other than those issues, great stay.

The first impression I got was how immaculately clean this VRBO was. As a nurse, this is so important to me. From top to bottom, even the floors felt like home they were so clean. The beds were comfy to help us get a good night’s sleep for all the fun we had at the beach. The set up for our dog was perfect, complete with a cage and dog food and water bowls and his own little space. All of the appliances were clean (and most seemed new!) and easy to use. We like to prepare most of our meals at home to eat healthier and we had everything we needed. We had a blast playing Hilton Head-opoly- one of the many games provided -for some family fun to wait out rain/storms. The beach cart really came in handy getting our things to and from the beach. We had plenty of towels and wash clothes provided and they even had little toiletry sachet bags with soap, lotion, etc. It was clean.It was comfy.It felt like home away from home. Lots of nice things were included - paper towels, dish washer pods, etc. You could tell the owners put a lot of care and attention into making it nice. The only picture I have is playing the board game but all of the advertised pictures accurately depict the VRBO. We really loved this place and hope to use it again in the future. 5-stars! Thank you to Pam and Paul!

Great spot

Unit was very clean, well equipped and only a 5 minute walk to the beach. The neighborhood is dog friendly. Very easy check in and check out process. Pam and Paul were excellent hosts and answered all questions fast and efficiently. We are glad we chose this property.

Great Hilton Head Find!

This was the perfect condo for our stay. We were so close to the beach and the walk there was on a tree covered sidewalk. The entrance to the beach was one of the best I have seen and less crowded than other areas. I loved having some outdoor spaces and everything in the condo was lovely!

Great Stay

We have stayed in the Stones Throw complex before. The location is great, close to the beach and dog friendly. This condo is very nice, well equipped and clean. Very enjoyable stay!

Great location

This condo is in a great location close to the beach. If you’re looking for a short trip with a dog friendly condo this is the place. It’s a bit small for more than 2-4 people to stay comfortably, especially sharing the one shower, and the door to that bathroom doesn’t latch.

We had a wonderful time.. The townhome was clean, very well stocked with anything that you could possibly need… Location is great… easy walk to beach and close to all shops and restaurants.. Loved that I was ableTo bring our little dog with us.. Definitely look forward to visiting again..

Great locale and pet friendly

The unit is in a good location a short walk to the beach. Pet friendly which we needed for our two small dogs. We felt the unit could use some updates. The photos do not depict how dark it is inside either. Windows do not provide much light. The condo could have been better stocked as well. No ironing board and iron. An ancient wall mounted hair dryer. Haven't seen one of those in 30 years. Just tuck one in a drawer for guests to use--one that has a little power. Finally, the outdoor area could have been better maintained. Leaves and debris were on the patios.

Great October Trip

We really enjoyed our stay. Property owners were very responsive when we had a brief internet outage due to their internet provider. Great communication preparing us for our stay. My wife and I enjoyed walking to and on the beach and we discovered a nice loop walk through Port Royal (about 2.8 miles) which we took every morning. Thanks so much!

Our stay at Sea ‘N Shade

We had a great stay! The condo was perfect and exactly as advertised. It was a very short walk to the beach and all of the bike paths were awesome!. We couldn’t have picked a better place for a short get away.
