Proudly hosted by Island Rentals of Hilton Head, 537 Shorewood Villas is a beautifully furnished oceanfront retreat located in the highly desirable South Forest Beach area. This two-bedroom, two-bath villa offers direct Atlantic Ocean views overlooking the resort-style pool, delivering the perfect balance of comfort, convenience, and classic Hilton Head coastal living.

The open living space is bright and inviting, with direct balcony access that showcases sweeping ocean and pool views—ideal for morning coffee or evening relaxation. The living room and bedrooms are all equipped with flat-screen TVs, and the dining area comfortably seats six. The updated kitchen is thoughtfully designed to accommodate everything from quick breakfasts to full family meals, making it easy to feel right at home during your stay.

The primary suite features a King bed, wall-mounted flat-screen TV, and a private en suite bathroom with granite countertops and a walk-in glass-enclosed shower. The guest bedroom includes a Full bed and a Twin bed, a wall-mounted flat-screen TV, and convenient access to a second full bathroom just outside the bedroom, complete with granite countertops and a tub/shower combination. A washer and dryer are also included in the villa for added convenience.

It’s a 10!

We picked this condo based on all the great reviews and I am happy to say that our experience was flawless, as well. A couple small hiccups in the stay were resolved very quickly by Dan, who was very pleasant. Things to know about this condo- master bdrm has a fantastic ocean view, even from the bed. The second bdrm has two beds and is much darker- great for kids. Large bathrooms. Washer and dryer in unit with starter supply of detergent. Bikes are great! We waited a few days to figure the bikes out and wish we had done so, earlier. They are comfortable cruisers and fun to ride on the beach at low tide. Large spacious living area with tv’s that are new enough to cast shows. Very clean. Absolutely nothing to complain about!

Average Hilton Head Condo

This was our first time to Hilton Head, this location is very convenient with kids, having a pool and beach all right there. The location was great, beach was perfect, the grounds/pool was taken care of daily. The condo itself was manageable to say the least, we arrived to a shower head faucet still on, which means the cleaning crew left it on/could not turn it off, which had to contact host to get a plumber out next day but had a dripping noise all night long as it could not be shut off. The next issue I will say kept me up at nights as when we arrived there were 2 palmetto bugs/cockroaches in the condo, one near the front door and one in the kitchen. Upon further review I could see they had traps set up under the sink and under one cabinet base board that both had living roaches in them. I contacted the host and said they would have property management to spray as that seemed not normal. The next day there was a 3rd on the kitchen wall, it seems this an ongoing issue, as there was a pest record in a cabinet that had them out in 2023 then back 10 days prior to our visit so they were aware prior to our arrival or why stop and restart the service. That was our biggest issue was the roaches, but the condo needs to updated with towel racks coming out of the walls and paint chipping, seems like condo can be need in some TLC for sure. I booked this being a 10 star review but it’s more of a 6ish basis my opinion, without the roaches would be more like a 8ish.

Can’t beat a vacation at the beach

Had a great week+ at Shorewood Villas on the top floor. 2 couples fit very nicely with separate bathrooms each. The extras were a nice touch - 4 bikes, beach chairs and umbrella, and TVs with cable were all great. The internet there was fast and solid. Parking was easy, and the walk to Cologne on the beach was easy.

This location is prefect for family as everyone can walk/bike to nearby shop and restaurants. If you want to run, you can go miles outward on paved sidewalk

Beautiful view

This condo is just as described. Very clean! The pictures are accurate. Beautiful view!!! It is stocked with everything you could possibly need for a vacation at the beach. I gave it a four on check in because they need to give a more detailed explanation of how to operate the key code lock and be more specific about where information is located in the condo. That part was very confusing for me. But I just called the # listed in the paper work. They were very helpful and my problems were solved quickly. I would definitely stay in this condo again.

Family getaway!

Meet up place with family for a few days to relax! Second stay at Shorewood and love the views and location the best! We can park and walk everywhere. This unit came with bikes which was awesome to bike down the beach. A real plus! The unit was clean comfortable and had all we needed. Only negative was the elevator was out of commission the last two days and we were 5th floor!

Great beach week

Comfortable condo with great beach views. Only complaint was noise from elevator construction and erratic elevator repairs. We stayed an extra night ...process was easy. Will stay again!

Perfect location!

Great Vacation Spot

Everything was wonderful for our stay in Hilton Head. Property was clean, the grounds were well maintained and secure with gate access. We were a few minutes walk from Coligny Plaza and right on the beach. The condo was bigger than expected and had a great kitchen with a washer and dryer that came in very handy. The host was responsive to all our questions and was quick to provide assistance while there. Overall fantastic experience.

Location! Location!

We stayed in this condo in Mid March with 2 adults and 2 teens. The condo was absolutely perfect. Pool was open and heated and hot tub was great on the cooler nights. Condo is clean and comfortable. We were given a starter pack of dish soap, laundry soap, some toiletries etc. which was really nice to have. The sunrise view on the balcony it was really made our stay awesome! The location of the condo is perfect, walking distance to Coligny shops and restaurants, and celebration park and right on the biking/walking trails. I would definitely stay here again.

Great location near beach and restaurants

Pros: location, location, location! We loved the easy access to the beach, dining and shopping. Having bikes included with the rental made it enjoyable to access these amenities in a variety of transportation methods. Space - there was plenty of space for my family of four to spread out and have time to relax when we wanted to stay indoors Cons: there are just a few spots in the condo that could use a fresh coat of paint or a deeper clean. Staying in October, we are aware that we are renting toward the end of the season and this may very well be something that’s done over the winter months. Not a big concern unless it’s not addressed for guests in the spring.

Great place to stay

We had another great trip to Hilton Head. Shorewood is a great place to stay. We had a great view and could hear the sounds of the ocean and see the ocean from the bedroom, living room and of course the balcony. It is a great location with a great pool and easy beach access. We will definitely go back when our favorite spot at The Breakers is booked.
