Beautifully renovated Beach Cottage at 1 Osprey!

This 3 bedroom, 2 bath home is located on the corner of North Forest Beach Drive and Osprey Street, this house is the perfect getaway for a family or small group. The house is a 2-minute walk to the beach and a short bike ride to Coligny Plaza. Enter the house from the spacious front steps and deck, perfect for catching the evening breezes.

As you walk into the home the open floor plan features the living room which offers a sleeper sofa. As you continue past the living room is the Kitchen with beautiful granite counter tops and an island that is surrounded by three bar stools that also open up to the dinning room table.

The two guest bedrooms are to the right of the living room with a shared bath at the end of the hall. Each bedroom has a queen bed. The master bedroom is to the left of the living room, dining room, and kitchen. Featuring a king bed and doors to the front patio, this room is quite spacious. The en-suite master bathroom comes with a full size shower.

Do not forget about the outdoor pool area at this home, it offers a perfect balance of comfort, aesthetics, and functionality, creating a tranquil and enjoyable environment for relaxation and entertainment. It's a place where guests can make lasting memories and escape from the stresses of daily life.

Our top 2 favorite things about this house are the location and the pool! This house is just a minute walk to North Forest Beach, which, in our humble opinion, is the best beach on HHI. It is right across from a lovely shaded bike path that takes you right down to Coligny. The pool is BIG- and someone came to clean it mid week without us even having to ask. Quinn with Beachside Getaway was very responsive and helpful. The bathroom in the master looks recently updated and the shower is awesome! The AC kept up despite the scorching temperatures outside. We spent some time on the large front deck and enjoyed the rocking chairs. Would 100% recommend this place to a family with small kids- it has everything you need. Thanks for a very special week!

Exactly as Advertised and as we Hoped

Looked exactly like the pictures. Sheets and towels were very clean. Plenty of dishes and utensils. Back door locked, but not as designed. Pool was clear and the pool guy cleaned it Saturday and midweek. Let’s in lots of light at sunrise, so wear sleep masks if you need. TVs in bedrooms are on the small side, if that is important to you. Wifi was good. The management company was proactive and consistently ensured that all was good. Appliances were clean, modern, functional. Master bath was recently redone and is very nice.

Nice Home Close to the Beach

Family of 5 with three children under 10 years old. This was our first time staying on North Forrest Beach. In October the beach was almost empty. The home was only a short 3-4 minute walk even for the 3 year old. Beware, the trek over the Dune could be tough for those that are very young or old. The house was cozy and quiet. The kitchen and second bath could use an update but everything worked as it should. I would recommend replacing some of the curtains and comforter/quilts. The pool was fantastic - and we agree with many other reviews that it is much larger than it appears. We did have an issue with mosquitoes on the first day, but the management company was on it immediately and we had no more issues. The gated side entry with the shower was nice to be able to clean off before entering the home. Overall great stay and highly recommended.

Awesome location, short walk to beach.Management company Beachside Getaway checked in periodically by phone few times throughout the week to make sure we were enjoying our vacation and if we needed anything. Would definetly rent this house again in the future.

I feel a handrail at the pool would be helpful! It sure would cut down on accidents!

Loved this house! Very comfortable bedding! I would suggest some better frying pans as these didn’t cook evenly and would not clean! Also, I feel a handrail at the pool is necessary for safety and liability!! We had to use our hotspot as we lost internet after being struck by lightning Wednesday night! Hopefully repaired for the next tenants! We love 8 minutes from Tybee Island and have been spending a week heee every summer!! Love HH!! Will was exceptional!! Hopefully, stay there again next year!!

Huge pool and great location

The house was perfect for our stay! It was my family of 3 plus another family of 3. We each had a toddler (2 and 3 years old respectively). The house was perfect size for us 6. I was so worried about the door to the pool being easily opened by the toddlers but there was a lock at the top of the door so they could not open it themselves. It gave us such peace of mind. The pool was also HUGE! Much bigger than the pictures even showed. It was the biggest perk of the house! The walk to the beach was a breeze too. You're also only a 2 min drive to Coligney plaza. The location was quiet and perfect. Remember to bring any tupperware or storage bags for leftovers while you're there because none was provided. Everything else kitchen-wise and even bathroom-wise was included. Great stay and will likely be back in the future!

Comfortable and convenient

For a group of four or five people who want easy access to the beach and food and shopping, this is great place to stay. The pool is a bit bigger than the photos show and the rest of the photos represent the place well. The main bedroom and bathroom appear to have been updated recently and were very clean. The house had everything we needed to have a relaxing week at the beach.

Fantastic property and location

The house was perfect for our family group (grandparents, 3 kids (11-13), 3 adults. The layout of the house is great, kitchen is well stocked, and the pool is bigger than we expected and perfect for hot afternoons. The house is truly steps from the beach and an easy walk (less than a mile) to Coligny Beach. It was a perfect stay and we would love to visit again!

Great Home!

We have rented homes all over the World and this is the perfect home for a family! It was one of the cleanest we have stayed in to date! The layout of the home separates the Master from the other bedrooms which was great for my husband and I. The home is very private, a quick walk to the beach and right on the bike paths which we loved! The rental company is very attentive I just highly recommend!

Great property (light, spotless, great pool); great management

We have stayed at a lot of beach properties and this was by far the smoothest. The management company communicated very well, and thought of all of the little details to make the stay nicer. We had a pool mishap (no one's fault) and they sent out the pool company right away, even though it was on July 4th, so that we could swim.

Perfect week at the beach

Tremendous property, well appointed, perfect location on Hilton Head. Easy walk to the beach and a quick bike ride to Coligny and the Piggly Wiggly. Went with my 70-something parents and my sons aged 5 and 7. Just the right fit for us.

Location location location

The location was perfectly situated between our main areas of concern. The house is laid out appropriately to have a good time. The pool while wasn’t clean it first was the phone call was made they clean the pool and was enjoyable. The house like a little bit of maintenance but once it was brought to the attention they were taking care of it. I would stay at this location again

Loved the pool

Pool feature is what makes this property. Large and receives sun most of the day. Property could stand some general maintenance and sprucing up, but all systems (A/C, plumbing, kitchen, W/D) are in good functional order. Rear door locking mechanism is quirky. Met our need to isolate, be close to beach, and close access to shopping/dining.

Perfect size and location

Osprey house is very comfortable. Beach towels are provided. Really close to calm side of beach. No complaints for rooms and beds. Just remember to bring a kitchen sponge and dishsoap, and sugar, salt etc...
