Surf Court 81 - Forest Beach Townhouse

Surf Court 81 is a two-story townhouse, one flight above street level. King bed in master bedroom, two twin beds in bedroom 2, mattresses were replaced in 2024 + sofa bed. A spiral staircase from the living room balcony provides easy access to the beautifully landscaped courtyard and large swimming pool. Surf Court is within 3 blocks of Coligny Plaza, Beach Park & Market and the Lowcountry Celebration Park. This quaint downtown area offers guests a wide selection of restaurants, shopping venues, and entertainment for all ages. The unit includes 3 Smart TV's, 1 TV in the living room, and 1 in each bedroom. Surf Court 81 has updated both upstairs full baths in January 2018. The kitchen has been fully renovated as of 2021. This is a great location centered in Hilton Head Island's south end.

Great location!

The townhome was just as pictured. Super clean and spacious. Very easy walk across the street to the beach. The kitchen was well appointed and we loved that we were in walking distance to plenty of restaurants & shops. Keyless entry is great and having steps that lead down into the courtyard and pool area was very convenient. We would definitely book this location for a future trip.

Great Place

Was a great stay, property was clean. Pool had trigs and leaves in it from the trees that overhang. Property did have a musty smell, not terrible, just needed to be aired out. Noticed some of the black on the vents also, tho not sure if it’s mold. Check in process was annoying because we arrived at the property to find that we had to go over to the office located at a different location. Could be more streamlined if they would have just messaged us the pass code instead. It was a nice stay, really enjoyed our time and it was comfortable.

Family Spring Break in Hilton Head

Our family returned to Hilton Head for our spring break for the third year this year. This we have stayed at Surf Court each time and love the location. Here are some pros/cons of our stay. Pros: -The location can't be beat! -The kitchen has been nicely updated. -The unit is easily accessible and of decent repair. Cons: - Don't stay here if you're looking for comfortable sleep! All of the mattresses are beyond shot and are very uncomfortable. The comforter on the master bed is ripped and stained. The sofabed had old dirty sheets on it filled with food crumbs and wrappers. The mattresses are in desperate need for replacement. - The living room chairs are also quite old and don't offer much support. - The patio screen door needs to be replaced as well. That being said we did enjoy our stay, but we want people to be aware of what we found.

Weekend Get Away

This property was great for a fall weekend getaway. It was located close to beach access and Coligny Plaza so it was easy to just park the car and walk where we needed to go. Access to supermarkets and restaurants was extremely easy to navigate when we had to drive. The property was in good condition; clean and as advertised. The outdoor steps leading up to the front door were a little steep and narrow, so proceed with caution when unloading and loading bags and such. The property was quiet, well maintained and in a great location!

Great location

Great location and property. Small issue with the tub in the master and it was fixed in 20 minutes. Comforter in the master has rips in it(should be upgraded). Carpet on the stairs and upstairs are very smelly, could use a dehumidifier to get rid of the dampness. Black mold on the curling in the master and to the right of the tub. All vents have mold in each slot. Great kitchen and comfortable living room.

Location was across the street from the beach and very close to Coligny. The balcony was a little small with very uncomfortable chairs. The rest of the condo was great. Easy ride to Harris Teeter by bike

Great stay!

We loved our stay! The condo is in a great location! It’s quiet, yet a short walk to the beach and coligny plaza! Cute little patio with a nice view and the pool is steps from the patio stairs! Plenty of great restaurants and shopping within walking distance! The condo was clean and bright! Comfortable furniture, nice dining table, a half bath on main level and two full baths upstairs with the bedrooms! Will definitely stay again!

Fabulous space but…

The condo was very spacious and clean but needs some attention. The Pull out mattress on couch was stained with what appeared to be vomit. There was not enough silverware or bowls or plates as we were a party of six but had a set of silverware for 8 and less bowls, plates, etc The cable worked upstairs but not downstairs for several days. Management company was very responsive but needed to contact them too many times for basic needs.

Perfect Location

Sidewalks are built for easy walking everywhere. We found a different restaurant for every meal, mostly with live music. We were able to sunbathe by the beautiful pool (too cool to swim). Beds were comfortable. Powder room came in handy with 3 women getting ready to go out!

The property was just across the street from the beach and just a short walk from Coligny Beach plaza. Check in was easy if slightly inconvenient having to first go off property to pick up the door code. We did have a small issue with dust behind furniture in the bedroom that looked like it hadn't been vacuumed in months. We are sensitive to dust so called the management and they promptly sent out someone to fix the issue. Otherwise it was a good stay.

S. Forrest Beach

Due to the location of this property I would plan another stay here. The complex is directly across the street from beach access, an easy walk. It is also walkable to Coligny Circle , restaurants & shopping. The condo itself is on second story of the building, a consideration if you're with little ones. There are several access points to the pool but the one from the condo is an exterior circular stairway from a shared patio. Inside, there is a new vinyl floor throughout the first floor. The furnishings are dated and need attention but a new couch and nice washer/dryer make it comfortable to stay. Upstairs: two bedrooms and two baths. No tvs but the beds are comfortable and you fall fast asleep! We had a couple issues and management was right on it; resolved to our satisfaction. Bring your own chairs or rent from beach patrol and enjoy your stay. The check in process was easy but you had to go to offsite location. They could have easily emailed instructions and I would have given them 5 stars.

Great location

We loved the size of the condo and the complex! The beach area had no shower to help with sand which in exchange resulted in a sandy condo, but the vacuum in the closet helped keep things tidy.

Wonder Hilton Head vacation

This place is perfect if you are looking for a place to stay that is on the cheeper side. Sea Shore vacations took care of the broken AC Immediately they were great to deal with. First of all it was not as clean as we would have thought. Shower curtains had soap clumps on them. The bathroom floor had stuff in the corners. Both of the blue chairs only turn when no one is sitting in them and the moment you sit down you can instantly tell they are broken as you almost his the floor. The carpet is dirty and in need of replacement and we wouldn’t recommend this unit to any one with littles who crawl around. The condo complex is fantastic and we are already looking at a different unit for next year. The pool is great and the complex is 5 min walk to the beach. The kids played in the pool and the court yard with other kids and had a blast. It is also a short walk to restaurant s and shops. A grocery store is also a short walk away. Are kids loved the part nearby with the pirate ship. Overall the condo complex gets 5 stars. Unfortunately the condo only gets 3 stars.

Great Location -

This was our second trip to the island and we are getting the lay of the land down pretty good. Surf Court is an a great location, just a few minute walk down to Coligny Square, and beach access directly across the street; perfect. The unit was as advertised. It was the perfect size and had all that we needed. ONE DRAW BACK - Please give the unit a make over. Our unit was pretty dated and it had carpet that DESPERATELY needs to be replaced; there was 'musty' smell upon arrival, but faded away as we got settled in. I would think an LVT type flooring would much better that old musty carpet. Aside from that, we still enjoyed our stay and it's great location very much.

Pleasant Stay - Upgrades Needed

PROS: Clean, neat, spacious, quite, 2 full bathrooms upstairs for each large bedroom, bonus 1/2 bathroom downstairs, second floor front entry, semi private entry into private court yard where the pool is located (the small balcony is shared). CONS: Needs upgraded, windows let sound and heat in, upstairs bedrooms get warm, kitchen cabinets and supplies NEED UPGRADED, Refrigerator kept freezing the food, old furniture, TV in second bed room did not work, No master bedroom TV. (Would recommend the owners to clean out the closets of unused supplies, building materials, old broken stuff and empty TV boxes.) OVERALL enjoyed our stay and would recommend this unit to others!
