"The house was absolutely amazing! We really enjoyed our time there!"

"Second stay at this lovely location. We were able to experience more outside activity this year as we brought our son (14) and our daughter (22) stopped by. Plenty of room to run and play.We will definitely come again next year for our AnniverSCARY (10/31). Thank you to the owner for the updated heat source and unique experience!"

"What an amazing view!! Pilot Mountain in the distance and surrounded by fields and pasture. So private and gorgeous. We got to watch a family of 7 deer, including a buck with an impressive rack, graze in the next pasture over. Our dogs loved the yard, and the deck is situated so the view is at its best. We loved the uniqueness of the inside of the home, and was well appointed for making our own meals. Also enjoyed watching the World Cup semifinals on TV in the living room. Definitely putting...

"Unique, fun, magical"

"We booked a one night stay at The Starry Snug for a quick anniversary getaway. It was WONDERFUL from start to finish! It is such a CLEAN cozy space and feels just like home. It literally has everything you need and then some. The shower is HUGE and even though we had a slight issue with the water draining, my husband was able to plunge it when we were done which seemed to fix the issue. The bed is SUPER comfortable and the fan over the bed is just enough on low. We will MOST DEFINITELY be back!"

"My husband and I really enjoyed our stay at Wind Song! Beautiful place, very clean and comfortable! We had a relaxing stay, misty mornings in the hot tub... LOVE! We will definitely stay again!!"

"We loved this house and hope to stay here again! The only thing is water doesn’t drain well in the shower and bathroom sink. This house was perfect for our family."

"The host was very responsive and we were very impressed with the upgrades and appliances. The view was great in the summer time and must be even better in the fall and winter. We’re always appreciative for hosts who are also dog friendly so it makes it easy for our little Boston terrier to join us."

"Very clean home. Well appointed with lots of amenities…great towels! Lovely views without being too far up in the mountains and a long drive. Peaceful area with many deer and other wildlife wandering nearby. Excellent communications from Pat from booking up to and throughout our visit. Easy access and secure home. We hope to return next year."

"Beautiful place and perfect for a getaway in Galax! It had everything I needed for my short stay."

"Jodee was a fantastic host! She was available by text for any questions. The property is top notch! Right by the creek where the deer meet daily, you have a hammock and bench to relax. You have all the amenities you would need and more! For sure will recommend and look to for the future!"

"If you are ready for a reset, this is your place. It is the most calming property I have had the pleasure to stay at. It exudes all the very best vibes and is a gorgeous testament to its former glory as a cider production facility and showroom. I could feel love and pride pouring from every nook and cranny throughout my lovely stay. Diane and Chuck--it was a true privilege to stay here. Thank you so much!"

"View is exceptional. Nice windows inside to see the Blue Ridge Mountains. Saw a doe and her baby. Also saw turkey! Many amenities of home. Host was quick to reply to messages. Downside, there was an odor when we entered, but we like open windows the best anyway! With the winds open, fresh air was flowing. I’m just sensitive to odors, you may not be. Overall—- it was a very relaxing time for us as we celebrated our 34th wedding anniversary overlooking the mountains!"

"Beautiful property, very clean. We had everything we needed. We would definitely stay again."

"Some of the amenities listed for the property we're not on site. There was no hot tub. That wasn't a huge deal. However, the listing did state there was air conditioning and there was not. There happened to be record high temperatures during our stay and two adults have medical conditions/on medication that makes them heat intolerant as well as one of the children being autistic, the lack of AC was a major issue. The property management company brought out portable units and promptly resolved...

"Nice and clean"

"Beautiful home for a mountain getaway. Host was honest, home was immaculately clean. Nice appliances, nice tv's, speedy internet for being on the side of a mountain, nice furniture ( was very impressed with the furniture, towels, bathroom cleanliness, nice extra blankets, utensils ). This property doesnt use thrift store, goodwill things or appliances to just have a rental and make extra money, they care about the quality of the stay. 2 bottles of wine ( we dont drink wine but the gesture in...
