"The location is fantastic—you're right in the heart of Cashiers, making it easy to walk or drive to local shops and restaurants. The property is situated on a fairly quiet dirt road, the listing photos accurately represent the space, and everything was clean upon arrival.A few things prospective guests should know before booking:The listing states that the best way to reach the host is by text. I texted before our stay to ask what type of coffee maker was provided, but didn't receive a response...

"Bedding smelled ,mildew like. Property has not been cared for. Vegetation suffocated the deck. instructions to use the entry lock were wrong and no one was available in the rental office to help"

"First, the positives: the view from the upstairs master was outstanding, and the bed, sheets, and towels were all exceptionally comfortable. The host is very communicative and very much on top of things. Location is also great.The not so good things: there is significant road noise from Hwy 64, so that takes away just a little from the tremendous view. This is an older home with the bathrooms updated a bit, but the house needs some attention. Both sets of double doors leading out to the two...

Our hostess left no detail out….any little thing we could need, she had accommodated!Perfect spot to watch the stars at night, best weather to enjoy the firepit nightly, short steps to the soothing sounds of the river!Got the biggest kick out of showering “outside”! Bed slept very comfortably! Plenty of lighting inside and out as needed!Amazing couples’ experience!"

"Overall the property was not what we were expecting. We have vacationed in the Cashiers area for years and opted for convenience this year due to the property's location. Unfortunately, so many things about our stay were simply lacking. Certainly for the price we paid per night, we would have hoped for an experience to match. The property's description is somewhat misleading as well. Please make sure you are aware the main house has only 1 bathroom!Pros: Location to Cashiers, outdoor...
