"We stayed for two nights during homecoming for SUNY Canton. It was a girls trip to see our freshman play volleyball and Susan went above and beyond to make our stay both comfortable and memorable. "5 stars on all counts! Gorgeous view of St. Lawrence. Literally on the river! Comfy throughout the house. Well-provisoned kitchen. Great fire pit next to river. Private and peaceful. Owner Sean very responsive to property questions, and provided local info. Our dog enjoyed his stay, too. Far from highway, so no traffic worries with dog. "

"We loved our stay on Trout Lake! Check in was easy and as described. The kitchen was well-stocked and nicely set up for meal prep for our group of 7. We enjoyed the bi-level deck with a large table and chairs for 6 on both levels. The inside common area was plenty spacious for the one rainy day we needed to be indoors. "This was our third year in a row staying here and it will not be our last. Amazing location, amazing property, always clean and comfortable. Its a short walk to downtown, you are right on the water to access your boat, and Carnagie marina is located directly across from the property, making parking your vehicle and boat trailer so easy and painless. The owners are always responsive and helpful. I cannot recommend this propery enough! We love it and look forward to coming here every summer. "
