"I brought four of my grandsons for an adventure to explore the area and we had a blast!! The cabin (we called it a cottage) was so comfortable we had everything we needed for a fun adventure! Our host was super helpful with suggestions of places to go and surprised us with thoughtful items to make our stay even more special. The lake is beautiful and it is quiet and peaceful...so relaxing!!! I highly recommend a stay at the Inn! "

"We had a great week on Long Lake. Chet and Lauren have done a lot of work on their property, and it shows. The cabins were very quaint, comfortable and clean, especially the beds. I like that we brought all our own linens and bedding, I feel that is more efficient for both owner and guest. "We really enjoyed our stay here. It was very peaceful and quiet. Very unique and pleasant surroundings, being right on the creek. We enjoyed hearing the creek at night as we slept, and drinking morning coffee over looking the trout pond. The place is very clean and easy to stay at. The owner is friendly and helpful. Feeding the fish is pretty fun! There are many beautiful places near here to visit and enjoy. We will definitely come back if we are in the area. "

"Owner was very personable and helpful. The cabin is vintage without a lot of modern upgrades, but that is what makes it charming. Kind of like stepping into a 1940's lakeside resort. It had all of the proper necessities, fridge, microwave, stove, kitchen wares, etc. It was clean and comfortable. Cable tv worked fine. The location was ideal - only 3-5 minute drive from downtown Alpena’s attractions and 3 minutes from the beach. The host was responsive and wonderful to work with.
