"This house has amazing views and the fishing either off the decks or downstairs is great. It is a beautiful house with spectacular views and right on the ocean.With that said, there are some things that really detracted from the property. The cookware looked like something they threw away at a garage sale it was pitiful. Burned pans, teflon pans with half the teflon scratched off, etc. If you set these at the curb, no one would pick them up. The stove downstairs was a cheap very basic white one...

"Great location, lots of open space for gathering with a large group. The kitchen is well equipped. We loved the ability to all sit on the porch together and see/hear the water. "Host initiated early contact with us on directions, instructions for access, and hints to make our stay most enjoyable. We are already planning to return next year. Direct access to the beach was FABULOUS! We really enjoyed the Ft. Morgan area away from tourist land in Gulf Shores. Highly recommend taking the ferry to Dauphin Island plus exploring local forts and other historical sites. Of course, we also enjoyed a visit to Lamberts. Thank you!"

"The property was great, as advertised. The elevator was nice for unpacking and packing but otherwise we did not use it much. Due to the elevator it does create a less open floor plan but for those with issues with stairs it’s a great option. It functioned properly during our stay."

"We loved our stay at The Commodore West! The house was spacious, clean, and perfect for our family. The only thing we wished for was a bedroom on the bottom floor for those who struggle with stairs, but everything else was wonderful.The beach view was stunning—hearing the waves and watching sunsets from the balcony made every day special. "We love The Beach Club Resort! The beach is so perfect, especially because of the large sand bar. We had absolutely perfect weather all four days! And it’s so easy to get to the beach from The Doral building, because it’s a ramp instead of stairs! Our condo was also just perfect for the nine of us! It’s quite spacious, particularly the kitchen and master suite. There’s so much counter space in the kitchen, and it was well-stocked with every kind of pot, pan, and appliance we needed....
