"Very peaceful and quiet. Excellent breakfast and very helpful with lots of information on local area "

"Beautiful BnB, located in a lovely spot. I enjoyed the scones or pastry for breakfast. We had the best room with a great view- felt very special to stay in this old post office. Lovely housekeeper and it was nice chatting to the other guest over breakfast."

"The property was very well maintained and equipped. Beautifully decorated and lovely enclosed outdoor area for our dog to play. The only downside was that the water flow was pretty inconsistent and it was very hot weather so a bigger fan would’ve been great as it gets very hot. Other than that, it was a lovely stay."

"The staff and location of Housel Bay are outstanding! We can't wait to visit again."

"Wow, what a wonderful stay. We spent our Christmas holiday here with our extended family. Firstly the home was really well stocked with the basics which is so rare and it was really appreciated. The home was very well appointed with large rooms, 3 separate living rooms so no one felt on top of each other. The central gathering area was in the open planned kitchen and large dinning room with heated floors making it a welcome space for everyone to congregate around. In addition you get access to...

"A clean and well-appointed cottage in lovely estate gardens. However the VRBO listing is wrong- there is no ensuite for the twin bedroom and certainly not three bathrooms. This was very disappointing."

"Harvey Lodge is a hiden gem in a woodlands next to a river beautiful setting peace full beats any Premier Inn owners are friendly and helpful and they care about their guests bed is very comfy you just don't to get out of it in a morning if you care about a digital detox and peace of mind this is a place it's very near Helston town and close to Porthleven and other seaside places just beautiful felt like I was at home and not a holiday or working away from home "

"Clive and Alicia were extraordinary hosts. The view was amazing. The local pub was amazing. We learned very well how to drive in Cornwall on the narrow roads and had no issues as long as we were careful! We really enjoyed being in this area and had some lovely walks on the coastline and peaceful views of the ocean and terrific sunrises. It was a lovely stay in Cornwall thank you, Clive and Alicia."

"Property was lively and old. Staff were amazing. Food excellent . Would prefer a room with on suite but everything was very clean. Friday night music amazing . Would go back. Thankyou to all x"
