"It was a lovely stay in a lovely location. A car is essential when staying here. I have one criticism. Whoever stayed previously obviously brought a dog that smelled. The odour was strong and pungent in the lounge and despite us ventilating the room it was still present when we left. Apart from that the cottage was fabulous. Thank you too for the welcome pack."

"This is our second time here well first time was nextdoor but same cottage and owners two wonderful cottages and wonderful owners very friendly"

"Lovely cottage. Welcoming and homely with everything provided that we needed. Good place for a relax and good walking for the dog."

"We had a lovely week at the cottage, only one point taken off for comfort as we found the sofas very low and tired, we are seniors and maybe that’s why we were needing firm seats. Our hosts were both friendly and helpful and we were intrigued by the amount of squirrels 🐿️ constantly removing nuts from the tree opposite this was very entertaining. The weather was very kind to us only saw one day of showers. We were warm and happy with our accommodation and the area which we know very well, we...

"Every thing ran smoothly host was both on hand when we needed then as we had a problem with the drains in the shower .over all it’s a very small cottage for 2 people .Ideal for one night stay but we were there 4 nights .check out there other cottages we saw inside one they are lovely spacious better for a 4 night stay .area is ideal for Thornton le dale Pickering Whitby Robin Hood bay .Didnt think much to Scarborough"

"Great accommodation as advertised. "

"Beautiful cottage - ideally situated for exploring North Yorkshire. Like a home from home with everything you need to cater for yourself, although the town has several nice restaurants to choose from. Hosts are on site if you need them although we had no problems. The cottage we stayed in (Bransdale) had a lovely private garden for us to sit in with a little blackbird family coming in and out. Just perfect."

"Good location, clean, parking good although one parking space was occupied by someone from another property occasionally"

"It’s well situated and a nice place to stay. "

"Beautifully renovated cottage with comfortable bed and modern washroom. Conveniently located for exploring Guisborough and helpful guidebook with suggestions for the kids and adults. The grocery store is a 5-minute block away also. Andy was very helpful and easy to communicate with."
