"Stunning cottage, very tastefully decorated and very well equipped. The host has thought of everything. We stayed for 4 nights whilst our daughter was getting married at the nearby White Sykes Fields and we were not disappointed this little gem of a cottage was the perfect place for a relax before and after the wedding. "Quando siamo arrivati al cottage verso le 18.00 non si è presentato nessuno per darchi la chiave. Abbiamo chiesto ad una vicina che ha cercato si aiutarci. Alla fine, verso le 21.15 hanno rintracciato la donna delle pulizie che ci ha prestato la sua chiave. Ore che volevamo trascorrere a York e che abbiamo perso girando da una casa all'altra in cerca di aiuto. Roberta"

"We bought the 3 night stay as gift for our son's birthday. After a 3 hour journey they could not access the property as the keysafe code we had been given was incorrect. My wife and I were out for a meal and spent over an hour trying to contact someone that could give us the correct code. Eventually after nearly 2 hour they were able to guess the code and gain entry. Customer service and support were pathetic and left them stranded in the rain."

"Had a relaxing three night stay in this lovely cottage. Plenty of space and very comfy beds. Nice size bathrooms although unfortunately the shower in the family bathroom was leaking down into the hallway so everyone had to use the ensuite shower. Not ideal but no fault of the owners. "This cottage is represented well by the photographs on the website. It had everything we needed for our stay. We are two adults and two children (15, 12) and there was adequate room for us all. There were no issues with parking directly outside the property, we managed to get a space everytime. Helmsley is a lovely place, everyone was very friendly. This cottage was an excellent base for exploring the nearby area."
