"This is my second stay here after an overnight stay last June. I aim to book here whenever I can going forward as it was as good if not better which was a high bar to begin with. "This is an okay place to stay while visiting St Leonard’s and Hastings. It seems to be a family-run place and full breakfast is provided and is good.Quick walk to the train and to the beach and laundromat. Some improvements have been made to the property which are cosmetic and actually quite silly. There was an attempt to make this old hotel look opulent while neglecting things like upgraded beds and bedding, soundproofing rooms, replacing broken window seals and fresh paint on the exterior....

"Great hotel right on the beach. Staff were friendly and helpful, and food at the restaurant was great (we had breakfast, lunch and dinner over 2 days). Small spa area which was a nice treat after a days cycling! Our room was on the small side but it was perfectly fine for a short stay (and the bathroom was big!) Would recommend! "

"Beautiful room, lacked air conditioning for good weather, extremely hot! Breakfast was good, restaurant menu limited, food quality was average, the accommodation is in a beautiful village, unfortunately there is very limited eating establishments within the village.
Most staff were friendly and welcoming, overall we wouldn’t stay there again."

"Breakfast was very plentiful and tasty and the two for one happy he with cheese and biscuits was a pleasant surprise.
Wasn’t aware we needed to pay £10 for parking however. Room very spacious but was feeezing. No hearing has been put on before our arrival and we had to sit in our coats for ages before it warmed up. Very good location for visiting town on foot "

"Disappointing experience . When I informed reception at 6.15 pm that we had no water for the bath or shower I was told there wasn't any maintenance available . So neither I or my wife could have a shower that evening or the next morning ( today ) .

EV charger parking spot was occupied for many hours by a non-electric vehicle and the adjacent spot occupied by an EV which was not on charge. Staff said they were not responsible for its use."
