"toilet not flushing ,curtain of the pole in bedroom ,try to have a shower water hot/cold no set temp ,shower curtain to long seating in bath(easy solve move curtain rail up to ceiling , could not find bath mat did not wait for breakfast "

"Staff were helpful and friendly but property is very tired. Paint is peeling in bathrooms and bedroom, and the room smelt slightly damp. There were no electric sockets near headboard, we needed an extension cable running across the room. Corridor was in severe need of vaccuming. The property needs redecorating and deep cleaning."

"Debra and Drew were very welcoming hosts. We used The Barn as a lauch pad to visit Chartwell and Knole. Perfect choice. The accommodation was beautifully decorated and impeccably clean. We were spoilt for choice regarding local eateries. We chose The White Hart for dinner and it was top knotch. "

"The manager was lovely and showed us around the room and let us know any key things we needed to know. The room was absolutely lovely, proper cosy country vibes and loved the special touch of a large bottle of sparkling and still water and cookies in our room. Would highly recommend as place to stay! "The rooms were in good condition and the Staff courteous . However the beds were very uncomfortable. Breakfast cooked food was greasy and there were not many croissants Coffee was luke warm . The first morning there was no coffee in the machine at 8.45 11/11 . Poor provision for guests "

"Very good internet connection. Lovely granola at breakfast. Toaster super efficient. Our Room had a quirky floor, where the doors to the bathroom, and to the corridor had a gap. Parking 1st come 1st served, and have to be expert parkers. Loved the room, and the staff."

"Great hotel, I spent a couple of days with my friend, we found it good as it was very quiet time (just before Xmas) but it was very noisy in the early morning, I could imagine in busier times is worse. Other than that we liked our break and the swimming pool and gym were a plus, we ate at the restaurant for lunch, it was good and dinner at the bar twice, we liked it all, good break! "

"Good hotel and comfortable bed. Had cancel the second night as the hotel was closed. Access for an 81 year old was very difficult. Lots of stairs to manage. The very cold weather made it even more difficult. The manager was very good and helpful. We hope to get a refund for the second night. The location was excellent and the pub was very quirky and quite special. "

"Excellent room at the top though had to be careful to avoid head on beams on occasions !!! Very clean everything provided, superb shower. Good breakfast"
