"Awesome place to stay when in Hilo. Has everything you need to keep everyone entertained even when you are at the property. Billiards, dart board and basketball hoop kept the kids busy. Also, had bikes to ride to go to the beach nearby and tour the neighborhood. But the best thing about this place was that you can try the fruits from the trees in the backyard. "We enjoyed our stay here. It was a great home base for exploring Hawaii Volcanoes National Park and other sights on the Big Island. The kitchen is well stocked and the beds are comfy. We walked to the ocean in the morning for great views of the coast and spent a lot of time on the screened porch enjoying the trees and flowers in the yard. They even grow their own pineapples! "This property was great for our stay on the Hilo side of the island. It was clean and well stocked. The host was great and responded to any question we had, before or after arrival. With 2 teenage girls on the trip, it was nice to have 3 bedrooms. We will definitely consider staying again if/when we get to come back. "

"Christine is very communicative and this is a one of a kind property! The cats ate the best and the thoughtfulness of the design is top notch. We loved all of the ideas about where to go and what to do as well. We had to work a little to figure out how to cool down the rooms quickly but that was more us than the property :). You really felt like you got away from it all!"

"We LOVED our 2 night stay here. It was so relaxing and exactly what was described. It was a bit of nature, fruit trees and peace. We had excellent communication with the hosts. The outdoor shower was pretty cool. We really can’t say enough good about it. Will 100% stay here again when returning to Hilo side of the island."

"This was just the right size for the two of us. Marie and Greg were super friendly and kindly let us have access to all their amenities including the outlook (great for watching the sunrise) and the gate that gives you easy access to Honoli’i Beach. Every activity we did was about 15 minutes away, aside from visiting the volcano which is about an hour drive. Hoping we can visit again soon!"
