"A unique hotel. The inside, whilst being modern with all the amenities you would expect and more, still maintains a 'castle' feel. The staff were super friendly and attentive and provided sound advice when asked about the local area. A good choice for breakfast, which was excellent. A really fantastic stay."

"The place had a lot of potential, it just felt neglected and unloved. They had gone to a lot of effort to supply breakfast items in the shared kitchen and it was obviously visited each day by a host as it was tidied and rubbish cleared but some cupboards had random packets and crumbs,the salt and pepper pots were dirty and sticky. It just needs a bit deeper clean and there was piles of rubbish just outside the kitchen.

"The hosts are the heart of this place—incredibly welcoming and helpful. The guesthouse has a great location (walking distance to everything), parking, and excellent breakfast. We stayed 4 nights with my husband and son. The room was well-equipped with comfy beds, wardrobes, armchairs, fans, and a kettle with hot drinks and biscuits.
