"Sailors Choice was the perfect place for our extended weekend stay in Oriental for the Cycle North Carolina event. Steve and Sarah were very responsive to any questions or needs we had. "This is the cutest place and so convenient for a lazy weekend on the water. The bed is very comfortable. I do suggest bringing an hot plate if you’d like to cook but there is only one sink. So we chose to eat at “By the Bridge” and never had a bad meal. The service was great too. I’d definitely recommend this rental to everyone! (Except when I want to book it again!) "Cleanliness was the main issue. We arrived to an outside trash can that was overflowing. The inside had a terrible dog urine odor and there was dog feces in the backyard. The fenced in dog area was flooded and there was a hose there pumping water from somewhere into the dog area for our whole stay, rendering it unusable.
