"What an absolute treat The Red Lion is. I went of pervious reviews and it didn’t disappoint. In fact it exceeded my expectations, what a gem of a place. The Staff were simple amazing, David and Jasmine were fantastic and always on hand of we needed anything. The rooms are so comfortable and modern, the Breakfast was fabulous and the food in the pub was outstanding. My only problem is that I won't have the homemade biscuits that were in the room, tonight with my cuppa tea when i am at home."

"A very charming and remodelled village hotel with an excellent restaurant - locals and travelers alike are welcome. Chef creates new dishes depending the daily food availability - mostly local - organic and fresh. Room was very nice, clean and had a new wonderful bathroom with walk in shower. Breakfast made to order plus smaller buffet for yoghurt, juices, cereals. We would come back anytime."

"The place had literally changed management that day so unfortunately there was no cooked breakfast (only continental) until Sunday when the Chef would be in. Also the dinner menu was changed temporarily because of the sudden change in management. However, the new management and team were amazing in the service provided. "Delightful small hotel in the countryside. Plenty of parking space. Tastefully decorated, quality fittings, clean and comfortable. Good restaurant with excellent food and service. Excellent place for a quiet holiday, or stopping place for a driving holiday through Somerset."

"The lady who checked me in was excellent, very courteous and helpful. Amenities were very good, and room was clean. Bed was comfortable, my pillow was too soft, but that is a personal observation and choice. Overall an excellent choice!!"
