"We came to Matlock with the kids and grandkids from Canada, to show them their roots! The house was just perfect. A perfect spot for family and friends to visit, and we were within walking distance of shops, pubs, and a park. Daniel was very quick to answer any questions we had. We had an amazing time, and it was hard to leave!"

"Beautiful little cottage, the photos really don’t do it justice. The peace & quiet and views over the dale from the garden in the evening- superb. It’s just one mile to Milldale where you can access Dovedale nature reserve. 4 miles to Hartington with pubs/restaurants/grocery corner shop. Kitchen looked brand new. Good WiFi in the lounge. Dog friendly, great base for walking, so many great public footpaths and trails all around "

"Thanks for the lovely 1 bedroom flat near the main park in Matlock. It was super clean and the host kept in touch when we had questions. The parking space was too small for our rentalSUV but we managed to find street parking each night. We would definitely come back. "

"Just what we needed!! A relaxing stay in a beautiful cottage with the bonus of a fabulous private hot tub. Bed a little too soft for us & maybe some upgraded pillows & duvets however the rest of the property was immaculate. A spacious kitchen diner, lounge/games room & lovely en-suite & bathrooms. "WISH WE HADN’T!!! . No lights at all working on communal stairs so pitch black up to top floor apartment apartment. Stuff from other flats left on stairs so added to trip hazard. Kitchen poorly equipped , we had to go and buy something to cook in , no bread board , peeler etc. oven was disgusting, oily and old burnt food left in it . communication on location and flat number very poor so we ended up knocking on other people’s doors until we got a call from Vrbo finally .
