"Very nice property in a great location in the center of a very welcoming little town. Room was small, but had all conveniences and then some. In-house restaurant was excellent.
Breakfast does not start until 8:30, not convenient for travelers getting an early start."

We were very pleasantly surprised; the property is beautiful architecturally, the hosts were really gracious and welcoming, and the breakfasts were wonderful. Murphy's is a little foodie haven with a bunch of local cellar doors open to the public, and historic goldrush era buildings in the surrounding villages. "In town for a concert at the winery and booked this place online. I arrived early around Noon, the front desk lady said my room wouldn't be ready until after 3 but checked me in and gave me a key to come back anytime after 3 and go directly to my room. I greatly appreciated this. So i went exploring the town for a few hours made it back at 3 and went directly to my room. Very spacious with a mini fridge and microwave."

I had a wonderful stay at this bed and breakfast! From the moment I arrived, I felt so welcomed and at home. The hosts were warm, friendly, and went out of their way to make sure everything was perfect. The room was eautifully decorated, and very comfortable.
Breakfast was absolutely delicious—fresh, homemade, and with lots of thoughtful touches. The location is also perfect: peaceful and relaxing, yet close enough to shops, restaurants, and local attractions.
