"Great location in a fun city!"

"We enjoyed our stay so much. Melissa is the perfect host - so easily accessible but not intrusive. She has such a quaint and cozy cottage on the beach. We are two families that have been vacationing together on Lake Michigan for 11 years now. This was our first time having a shared beach - we have always gotten a private beach. There is a large, expansive beach just about 5 houses down and we basically had the place to ourselves. To be fair, it was pretty chilly and windy still (late June) but...

"This is the best facility we have ever used! It started with an effortless check-in process with effective communication from our host, Jason. When we arrived (Large house numbers, easy to see) the facility looked like new. There was incredible attention to detail at every point, from snacks and brochures at the entrance, to games/toys for kids and adults (great for that dreaded rainy day). Numerous tv's were also available. The coffee maker (drip and Keurig) was well stocked. The light...

"It was exactly as described. It was very clean and a comfortable nights sleep. We stayed 2 nights. Had a little trouble getting into our unit, and also couldnt get the door to lock as we went out for the day, but had no issues with anything. Location was great, making everything walkable."

"The location was good. Short 1/2 mile walk to the beach (no public parking but you can drive over if you want to drop people off). The beach was nearly empty and private. The house met the needs of our large group. The house does need a few maintenance clean ups but nothing that prevented us from having a good time. Would we use it again? You bet. Good family memories from this trip!"
