"Beth and John were an absolute delight to stay with! The pictures do not do this scenic escape justice. We had a delicious breakfast overlooking the lake every morning, as well as rejuvenating nights in the hot tub. We were only there for a few days, but it truly felt like staying with family. My boyfriend and I kept saying it felt like, "a mini vacation inside our vacation." You won't want to miss it!"

"Had to come up to Seattle for my daughter's university graduation. Because it was also a World Cup match weekend, the hotels (FIFA) were gouging and hotel prices insane. I was happy to have found this property in Capitol Hill at a reasonable price since it was walking distance to my daughter's dorm. Because I normally stay in hotels in the area or the airport, I was slightly anxious that I was going to be staying at a bed and breakfast tha I hadn't done so in so long. "You could not ask for a nicer quiet B&B and the hosts were amazing. You will be all by yourself as they only host one couple at a time. On Cottage Lake the facility is warm and friendly, and a little dated with the layout. It's private and breakfast is served at whatever time you want, and it's excellent! A very nice getaway that seems away from everything but only half hour-40 minutes or so from Seattle. "
