"Located about 45 minutes to the summit area of Haleakalā and about 2 hours from the Kipahula area. Good centralized location to visit all areas of Maui. I chose this property because of closeness to Haleakala. Unfortunately, the park was closed during our stay. This gave us time to visit all 4 regions oh Maui! All beautiful! "The pictures of Haiku #2 are greatly misleading. It shows a lovely living area with comfortable furniture. What we found instead was only a loveseat. There were no chairs, unless we wanted to use a dining chair. The living room space was cavernous with only the loveseat and a small coffee table. The bathroom shows a double sink; the unit has a simgle sink. In the property description it says there is a queen size bed, but what's actually there is a full bed.
