"Stayed July 3–5, 2025 with my wife via VRBOWe had a fantastic stay at Bolstad West for the holiday weekend. The location truly can’t be beat—steps from the beach, right by the boardwalk, and walking distance to all the shops and restaurants in downtown Long Beach. Fireworks on the beach were next-level, and it was amazing to watch the chaos and color unfold right outside the property.The unit itself was clean, quiet, and tastefully furnished, with a cozy vibe that made it feel like home....

"The condo is on the first level that has two other rentals above it. Which makes for very loud floors/ceilings! Upon arrival, I noticed quickly the floors and corners of the floors were still pretty dirty, and the cleaning wasn’t the greatest job of them…. I did wipe up a few areas just for my own sanity to live for the week. I understand the sand nearby is cumbersome and a “dirty” thing to try and always keep clean. "Great place to stay and very conveniently located. There was construction across the street so initially it was difficult to find street parking. Once the construction workers left we were able to park right out front. Beautiful view and we had a family of mule deer (including two fawns) eating the flowers on the lawn. Very special."

"The property could have been a little cleaner. Dog poop in the yard and cobwebs up high (we do understand they are in hard to reach places) and on the patio. We did find a big spider in the house. It was a great location and a fun old house in a quiet neighborhood. We would stay here again for sure."

"Wonderful accommodation off the beaten path to visit the beach. Just a short walk to get to the beach, but be careful crossing the hwy with little kids. I had to reach out to the host to get the code to enter the house and got a quick response. Frying pans need some updating, non-stick surface all scratched up. Everyone enjoyed the stay for a nice sunny winter day at the beach."
