The quiet village of Hou offers a small marina where you can buy an ice cream in the ice house in summer, go crab fishing or play in the playground. You also have the option of taking a pizza home and doing your shopping or picking up breakfast bread in town.



At Hals, where the Limfjord flows into the Kattegat, you can look forward to miles of child-friendly sandy beaches and unspoiled nature with large wooded areas. The quiet harbor town with small streets and a cozy harbor offers ice cream in the sun and perhaps a table in one of the restaurants when hunger strikes. And if you fancy more activity, there are also plenty of opportunities for fishing, horse riding, street markets, bowling and cycling or a trip to Aalborg, where you have all the options for shopping, the zoo and other activities.
