"AC was not working. Basically was told you have to put the temp high to get the AC to work. Online restaurant was supposed to be open until 9 closed early staff was not pleasant. Just drove 4 hours and no where to eat. Went to bed hungry woke up and the coffee machine doesn’t work. Will not be back. Most of the restaurant staff extremely unhelpful ( except one person in the early morning). The hotel desk person try to make it up to us by giving me and the family free breakfast but wheny wife...

"The room was ok, cold floors and it felt humid as it was half basement level. There was 3 floors so it was disappointing being in that level of the hotel and the ac was super loud."

"I had a wonderful solo getaway at Sands on Golden Lake. The ground floor room opened directly onto the beach, making launching my paddleboard super convenient. Rooms include a mini fridge and a self-serve complimentary breakfast (fresh eggs to cook, toast, and local Madawaska coffee).
The resort has a cozy, rustic lodge with a fireplace. On-site dining is great—the fish and chips were delicious, and the dining room has lake views. Safe, welcoming, and scenic. Highly recommended!"
