"My preferred rating would have been 4.5 stars. The only issue was that they’re having some issues with their WiFi. If this is critical for you, ask for a room with the strongest signal. They assured me they are working on it which will involve a total overhaul so I expect sometime soon it will be a stellar experience to match the rest of the amenities. Let me just say that the listing here on Expedia undersold the Beach View Room!!! Not only did it have a refrigerator- which is at least twice...

"Place is a little dated. Bathroom faucet did not have hot water. Spider webs on the deck railings. Comfortable bed. Front desk staff friendly. Hot and cold breakfast options were basic and ample. If you are here to golf at Half Moon Bay course, this is a very convenient place to stay. That’s why we were here."

"The bathroom was terrible. *The tile flooring in front of the toilet was not level - tiles next to each other were significantly different heights - tripping hazard. *The laminate on the counter top was peeling off, and was actually missing in some areas. *The plugs were ALL very loose, such that it was hard to find a useful plug for even charging phones --- much less my wife using her hair dryer."

"The ocean view and the sound of the waves were beautiful and definitely the best part of the stay. We also enjoyed the Moonraker restaurant on the grounds — the food and atmosphere were very nice. The oysters were amazing! However, the property itself feels very old and outdated. There was also a noticeable old smell throughout the hotel, which made the overall experience less comfortable than expected."

The management team are never available and they refuse to negotiate my request after I found a dirty and smelly room, they charge me 6 nights and I stayed there for 0 nights because I was not comfortable with what I found! They did not try to talk, or help me so I cannot recommend it! "
